Obituary of Mary Irene Levy

LEVY, Mary Irene 89 years of age. Passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Chateau Park Nursing Home in Windsor, Ontario. Born in Lower L'Ardoise Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Belfontaine) Sampson. Irene is survived be her children Paul (Diane), and Stephen (Cynthia) of Windsor, Peter (Elaine) of Smithers of BC, Anne Topple (Eric) of Toronto, Michael, Carol and Brian all of Halifax, and Christopher (Jennifer) of Manhatten, Kansas USA. She is also survived be her sisters Madeline of Richmond Villa St. Peter's NS, and Mary Rose of L'Ardoise, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren as well as her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Joseph Levy, brother John Sampson and sisters Dorothy Lily, and Rose Marie Bona. Cremation has taken place. Irene's funeral will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 2 PM at Holy Guardian Angels Church, L'Ardoise Nova Scotia with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
