Obituary of Mile Stimac

STIMAC, Michael (Mile) Nov. 23rd 1936 - Oct. 26th 2013 Passed away peacefully on October 26th with his children by his side at his home. Predeceased and reunited with his beloved wife Kate (2000) and son Robert (2000). Beloved father of John Stimac (Maria De Luca), Vesna Sim (Todd) and Linda Flay (Robert Zolotcov). Very cherished and precious "Dida" to his grandchildren Katelin and Michael Flay and Robby and Ryan Sim. Dad was born in Perusic, Croatia and immigrated to Canada in 1956. He is predeceased by his parents Lucija (Uremovic) and Josip Stimac. Dear brother to Josip Stimac (Zora), Windsor, Ivica Stimac (Mara), Vancouver, Mandica Valincic and late husband Zvonko, Croatia, Marija Njegovan and late husband Milan, Kaja Njegovan (Milorad), and predeceased by sister Anna Stimac and late husband Dane, and brother Stipe Stimac and late wife Anna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Our father retired from Chrysler's in 2000 after 36 years of service and was a member of CAW Local 444. E. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 9:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home than to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
