ZOUZAL Mary (nee Piric) Born February 11, 1924 in Pcoline, Slovakia-Passed away October 23, 2013 with loving family near, at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband, The Very Reverend Monsignor Arch Priest Anthony Peter Zouzal (1976). Dear Mother of Tony, Winsen and wife Susan, and Karel and wife Faith. Dear Grandmother of Tanya Chris & Valerie; Alex, Elizabeth, Karel and Eric, and Great Grandmother to Willa. Daughter of the late George and Anna Piric, and sister of the late John Piric. Always remembered is, "Angel Hudson" and "BB". The family would like to extend special thanks to Paullette at Bayshore Healthcare, as well as the Doctors and Nursing Staff of 6 North at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Mrs. Zouzal, along with her husband, Rev. Fr. Anthony Zouzal were one of the pioneer families that helped to form St. Michael "s Slovak Byzantine Catholic Church. As a woman of great devotion, Mary was a longtime member of the Altar Society, as well as numerous other clubs associated within the church and throughout the Slovak community. Her personality and strong character will be missed. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519.253.7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Friday October 25, 2013 from 2-5 & from 7-9 pm. Prayers Friday at 8:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 26, 2013 at St. Michael"s Slovak Byzantine Catholic Church (2120 Byng Road at Tecumseh Rd., East) for visitation from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Liturgy to celebrate Mary"s life at 10:00 am. Bishop John Pazak and Rt. Rev Eugene Halitsky officiating. Prayers of committal and interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
