Obituary of Luigi Martino

MARTINO, LUIGI Passed away peacefully on October 4, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87. Loving Father to Rosa and Husband Augusto Toniolo of Windsor, Antonio Martino and Matteo Martino; both of Italy. Predeceased by parents Antonio and Rosa Martino. Cherished and most adored "Nonno" to Liana Lunelli (Domenico) and Sabrina Toniolo. Predeceased by siblings Annunziata (Michele), Michele (Annunziata), Chiarina (Michele), Matteo (Maria), Maria (Giovanni). Luigi is survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy. He worked for many years as a miner in Italy and Canada. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel), 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Road East, on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 2-5 pm. and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral service on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 10:15 am., from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Windsor Regional Hospital, I.C.U. would be appreciated by the family.
