Obituary of Joy Adelaide Mary Fontana

FONTANA, Joy (nee Lamoureux) March 27, 1933 - September 29, 2013 Our Joy is gone but the memory of her brilliant smile and laughing eyes will be with us always. Predeceased by her husband Mario and her brother Ed. Sister in-law of Jane Ann Lamoureux and Silvana Fontana. Cherished Zia to Joy, Carla and Rossella of Italy, and aunt to Darlene, Suzanne (Dean), Cherie (Frank), and John (Valerie). Loved as a sister by Sharon and the late Bob Cleminson and aunt to Kathleen (Rick), Colleen (Joe), and Beth (Doug). Joy was a past member at Sutton Creek Golf Club and former employee of Loaring Construction. Her home, like her heart was always open to family and friends. Special thanks to the Kenney family and Joe Mele for their love and support over many years of friendship. Thank you to the physicians and staff at ICU, 6th, and 4th floors at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus for the wonderful care Joy received during her stay. At Joy's request, there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home, and cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 5, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Road at Wyandotte Street East in Windsor), for Memorial Visitation from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Mass to celebrate Joy's life at 10:30 am.
