Beloved and dedicated wife of the late Charlie Bosnyak (Aug 1, 2019) with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. Loving mother of Helen Nickerson (Andrew) and Chuck Bosnyak (Laurie). Devoted Grandma to Cailon Bosnyak (Sean Sheehan), Stephanie Bosnyak (Adam Bulat), Andrea Bosnyak (Edwin Yip), Allison Nickerson (Troy Boutillier), Kate Nickerson and the late baby Andrew Nickerson. Survived by many nieces and nephews with special mention to Joe and Stella Bosnyak, Mary and Gary Figurski, Annie and John Riselli and Valerie Burton (late Buz), all of Michigan, who shared many happy memories over the years. Thanks for all your love and support. Betty was born in Hamilton, ON. and was raised on a tobacco farm in the Delhi area where she met and married her husband Charlie. She was no stranger to hard work and excelled at anything she attempted. An accomplished homemaker, she was a talented chef, seamstress, gardener, decorator and bookkeeper for her husband's business. Without ever having had a lesson, she became an accomplished piano player and enjoyed her time with the church choir at St. Anthony’s Hungarian Church. There was nothing she would not do for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were closest to her heart. We will all miss her tremendously. Special thanks to the staff at the Royal Marquis retirement home in Windsor for going above and beyond to help our Mother feel welcomed and comfortable during the last few months. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed. Again thank you to the wonderful Health Care "Angels" of HDGH Palliative Care Unit. You gave so Much comfort to Betty and her family during this difficult time. There truly are Angels among us.<br/>A private family Visitation and Celebration of Life Service was held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234. Cremation followed. In memory of Betty, donations may be made directly to Palliative Care HDGH. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has instituted the following directive. “The maximum number of people who can be at the funeral home at one time (not including staff) is 10 or fewer. This pertains to the entire funeral home”.
