Obituary of Lloyd Nantais

NANTAIS, Lloyd F. At 89 years of age. After seven years, Lloyd has been reunited with his loving wife Barbara on September 21, 2013, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Loving father of Pamela Cheff (late Sylvio), Ted (Anna Marie), Barry (Carrie) and the late Michael, 2008. Dearest Grandpa of 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren and also survived by several cousins. Lloyd is predeceased by his brother Earl. He retired from Chrysler as a general foreman after 35 years of service in 1976. Lloyds' two lifetime passions were fishing on Lake St. Clair and golfing througout Essex County. During the 2nd World War Lloyd served over seas in England with the Canadian Army. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9p.m. Veteran Service under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee to take place Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd.) from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
