Obituary of Amorina Casagrande

CASAGRANDE, Amorina (nee Presello) Passed away peacefully on September 20, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Orfeo (1992). Loving mother to Dino (Laurie), Richi (Laura), Janine (Gary), Geri, Donna, and Robert. Cherished Nonna to Lauren, Marcel, Lisa, Elise, and step-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Sisto and Maria Presello, sisters Sally Marcocchio (Gino), Alice Muzzin (Joe), and brother Danilo Presello (Valerie). Dear daughter in-law to the late Regina and Giuseppe Casagrande. Dear sister in-law to Irma and late husband Celso Piccinin, Savino Casagrande, the late Dina and Lino Piccinin, and the late Aduno Casagrande, all of Pasiano Italy. Special aunt to Rita (1998), Betty, Elsie, Lorraine, Ken, Carole, Judy, Toni Lynn, all of Canada, and Carletto, Ornella and Daniel, all of Italy. Amorina will be missed by many more relatives and friends in Canada and Italy. Amorina and her husband Orfeo were the founders of Casagrande Construction Ltd., which began from humble beginnings. A special thank you to doctors Frank and David Scarfone for their years of compassionate care given to our mother. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Cohen and the Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital Staff, Red Cross personal support workers Christine, Grace and Sandra, and Revera Home Health nurses Kim and Jeff. Visitation was held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, September 22, 2013. Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Angela Merici Church. Entombment followed at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
