Obituary of Eva Heighway
HEIGHWAY, Eva (nee Paun) Eva Heighway, long time resident at Huron Lodge, passed away peacefully in the company of her family on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the age of 96. Reunited with her beloved husband William "Bill" Heighway. Loving mother of Evelyn & Ken Lemire and June Couvillion & special friend Fred Weir. Predeceased by her son in-law Bob Couvillion (2002). Proud grandmother of Tammy-Lynne Lemire & Rob Ierullo, Cheryle-Lynne Lemire & Laszlo Papp, Kenneth William Couvillion, and Robert James Couvillion. Cherished great grandmother of Claudia Eve Couvillion and Lacika Adrien Papp. Eva is predeceased by her siblings George, Helen, John, and Betty. Eva and Bill were very active and proud members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 255 for many years. Eva will be remembered for her fine work as an exceptional seamstress. A very heartfelt thank you to all the Doctors, nurses, and support staff at Huron Lodge for all their loving and compassionate care given to Eva over the past 14 years. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to gather at Huron Lodge, in the chapel, (1881 Cabana Road West) on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bev Diet officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Eva to the C.N.I.B.
