Obituary of Judith Ann Francis-Longmuir

FRANCIS-LONGMUIR, Judith Ann (nee Gagne) Judith Anne Emma Gagne was born May 31, 1941, in Sudbury, Ontario. Judith passed away peacefully at home, on August 5, 2013 with her family by her side. Judith leaves behind her best friend and loving husband Ronald Longmuir, and her children whom she loved; Donna, Dwayne, John (Marianne), Jerry (Joanne), Billie-Jo Zacher (Mark), Doug (Mazi), Joe (Krista). Also remembered by Ron"s children. Judith was extremely proud of her grandchildren Ken, Jodie-Lynn, Christine, Jacquelyn, David, Matthew, Jacob, Madison, Ryan, Eric and 13 great grandchildren. She is survived and adored by her sisters Dolores (Ben), Violet, Joan (John), and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Gordon & Emma Yvonne Gagne, and her brothers James, Denton, and Michael. Judith cherished her friendships with June Casey, Carol Francis, Manny Ramos, and Doug Kehoe and the Kehoe family. Judith was an inspiration to love life, laugh, and dance for many at Billie"s Place. Judith loved to garden, watch movies, attend Spitfire games, play cards, shop, play bingo, go to the casino and attend and watch her grandchildren"s sporting events. A special heart felt Thank You to Judith"s medical team: Jenny, Diana, Ashley, Barb, Kiran, Kathleen, and Dr. Haider Hasnain. Memorial Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 1-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment of ashes to follow at Victoria Memorial Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Judith to the Parkinson"s Society of Canada are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
