Obituary of Elizabeth Ferris

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Elizabeth (Lily) Ferris on June 4, 2020 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late David Ferris (2013) and loving mother of Victor (Despina), Jeanette Labonte, Lorraine McCann (Mark), David (Donna) and Jason (Ginette). Dear Granny to Evan, Molly, Scott, Todd, Adam, Brad, Steph, Derek, Erin, Emily, David Jr, Chris, Connor and Kade. Beloved great-grandma to Mya, Lola, Ella, Laina, Ava, Drake, Lily, Curtis, Dylan and Ronan. Lily and David came to Canada from Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1962 to begin their new life and family. She was an RNA for 30 years and she was an active member of the Scottish Society in Windsor for many years. She loved playing cards, going to Bingo and being with her family. She now joins many friends who she accumulated over the years. A special thank you to her nurses and caregivers at the Tecumseh Extendicare for the special love and compassion shown to her. Cremation arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 519-253-7234. A Celebration of Lily's life will take place at a later time.
