Obituary of Albert Gerald LeBlanc
LEBLANC, Albert Al "The Rose Guy" LeBlanc passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the age of 75, at Windsor Regional Hospital-Met Campus, with his family by his side. Born in Windsor, son of the late Annie & Albert LeBlanc. Beloved father of Nicole LeBlanc. Best friend of Carolyn "Carrie" LeBlanc. Dear brother of Wilf Leblanc, Terry LeBlanc (Eleanor), Barbara LeBlanc, Richard LeBlanc (Kathy), and the late Ronald and David LeBlanc. Dear brother in-law of Alice LeBlanc. He is remembered by many nieces and nephews. Al was a special friend of the Hogan Family, Michael Strauss, and the W.U.C. Retiree Breakfast Group. Al enjoyed his retirement after over 30 years with the Windsor Utilities Commission. He was also well known for his passion for growing roses and was a proud member of the American Rose Society. A Special Thank you to Dr. Syed Anees, all the nurses and staff on 4 North and I.C.U./C.C.U. at Met Hospital and the staff at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. Memorial Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. and Monday, July 8, from 3-5 p.m. & 7 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 8 p.m. Private family inurnment to take place at a later date. Donations made in memory of Al to the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
