Obituary of Lucille M. Sliva

SLIVA, Lucille "Babe" (Nee Rousseau) March 25, 1929 - June 30, 2013 Passed away with her loving family by her side at the age of 84. Loving and devoted wife of 66 years to Edward Sliva. Caring mother to Sandy & Ray Leaitch, Randy & Sandy Sliva, and Garrick Sliva. Cherished grandmother to Brent & Sharon Howell, Craig & Dana Howell, Michele Threadgill, and Corrie Lynn Sliva. Gentle great grandmother to Riley, Cade, Matt, Andrew, Megan, Sara, Kristin, and Nadia. Darling sister to Velma Lefebvre, and predeceased by her late siblings Helen Benedyk and Eugene Rousseau. Lucille will also be watching over many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Prayers Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 7:30 PM. Friends and family are welcome to gather at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Road) for visitation from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in "Babe's" memory may be made out to Leprosy Relief Canada, and the Scleroderma Society of Canada.
