Charlesworth, John It is with regret and deep sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our Statue of Liberty John. Born May 9, 1932, passed away May 25, 2013. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Atkinson) Dear father of Lesley Anne (John) Murer, and Michael (Ann) Charlesworth. Dear brother to George (Sheila) Charlesworth and their daughter Julie of England. He was a proud grandfather of Jennifer and Justin who were the joy of his life. John leaves many beloved friends and colleagues whose lives and hearts he touched. He always left a lasting impression. John was a retired Professor of Engineering at St. Clair College, and the founding member of "the Sharks" swimming group. A special thank you to all the nurses, students, and doctors at Malden Park for the support, care and kindness during his journey. Cremation has taken place. A private family Memorial Service will take place at a later date. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to Transition to Betterness or to the Windsor Humane Society.
