Obituary of Bogdan Gajic

GAJIC, Bogdan It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of their loved one Bogdan, at the age of 95. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on May 15, 2013 and is now reunited in the loving arms of his wife of 55 years, the late Annie (nee Dimu) Gajic (2006). Bobby was born on October 1, 1917 in Smiljan, Serbia. Shortly after immigrating to Canada, he worked hard to bring Annie to Canada where together they began a new life for themselves and Annie"s family. In our hearts are those predeceased by Bobby, his parents, Jovan & Maria Gajic and siblings, his mother in-law Emorfula Dimu, and sisters in-law Mary & John Soukas and Kathy & Pandil Velinos. He will be sadly missed by his brother in-law Stan Dimu and his wife Helen, his sister in-law Fani Mauro, his sister in-law Christina Dimu and Dobrica Acimovic. He is survived by his niece Marija Lovrik and her family in Serbia. Bobby will be fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews and their families. Bobby & Annie were long time members of St. Gracanica Church. A special thank you to all the care givers, nurses, and Dr. Chowdhry at Leamington District Hospital and Leamington Court Retirement Residence.
