Obituary of Elizabeth Iwaniuk

IWANIUK, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Halsall ) Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 22, 2013 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Paul Iwaniuk. Cherished mother of Brian Iwaniuk (Colleen) of Windsor, and Stephen Iwaniuk of Kamloops B.C. Loving grandmother of Bradley, Katie, Rene (Melissa), Kevin, Jessica, Tabitha, Christian, Stephen, and the late Sherri. Great-grandmother of Shane, Gracie, Kai, Breanna, Cadence. Daughter of the late Thomas Halsall and Mary Ann (nee Platt). Predeceased by her siblings. Special cousin to Tony and Sandra Platt. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth retired from the City of Windsor following more than 20 years of dedicated service. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Panakhyda Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Rt. Rev. Eugene Halitsky officiating.
