Major, (Melanson) Veylete "Vi" After a courageous battle with cancer on April 20, 2013 at the age of 73 years. Loving mother to Larry Vermeer, Brian Melanson, Cheryl Melanson, the late Kim (Kevin) Melanson (2013), Marion Melanson, Samantha (Chris) Rau, and Joanna (Steve) Fenton. Dear sister to Margaret, Lorraine, and Bobby. Vi will be sadly missed by her lifetime friends Joe Q, Lynn M, and her Mike A. Dear grandmother to J.R., Chris, Will, Martin, Danielle, Joseph, Ashley, Bryttney, Jessyca, Joshua, Kenzie, Brookie, Erik, Steven, Alexandra, Austin, and 10 great grandchildren.
