Obituary of William Thomson

THOMSON, William "Billy". Born on January 13, 1959 and passed away on April 4, 2013. Will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Finally at peace with our Lord, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Billy is survived by his Mother Shirley Thomson (Kennedy), his loving Brother Chris Thomson and his Wife Elizabeth (Beth) Thomson and Uncle Bill to Jenny, Jon and Amy. Also Dear Brother Tom Thomson and Uncle Bill to Jacqueline, Meghan, Ryan and Mitchell. Predeceased by Father Robert Thomson (1988). A lifetime resident of Windsor, and more recently of Tecumseh. Those who knew Billy knew that he lived life to the fullest, and was always the last man standing. We will never forget his quick wit, and his great ability to always tell it like it really was. Billy was a 20 year past employee of Zehr's Tecumseh, and a special thanks to all his co workers for their support and fundraising efforts. A very special thank you to the nurses at the Malden Palliative Care Center, where he received exceptional treatment for the balance of his life. Donations to The Windsor Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family. There will be a private ceremony for close friends and family.
