I want to express my sincere condolences to "Aunt Bev's" family. I have so many happy memories of visiting with her and Aunt Jean on the lakefront. As a small child, I remember playing on the beach and getting to drink pop (which we NEVER did, at home). I remember the big red ball-shaped lamp on the front porch, the lava lamp (which is still cool), and all the ceramic and crystal treasures that I would spend hours admiring. I remember Aunt Bev's laugh and how she called me "smartie", despite my mother's protests. I remember her big Jackie O sunglasses and pretty hairscarves. I loved visiting my "cool aunts". One time, we came by with our boat and had left Mom in the lake for a swim - then, Dad forgot to go back to pick her up! Mom eventually climbed out of the lake, a LONG time later, soggy and madder than a wet hen! I had been busy, making sand castles, and I couldn't understand the fuss. I have so many warm, happy memories of Aunt Bev and am extremely saddened to hear of her passing. My prayers are with all the family at this difficult time. Angie
