Obituary of Mary Netherton

NETHERTON, Mary (nee Lastuka) Passed away at Seasons Lakeshore in Belle River on Thursday September 20th, 2012 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Netherton. Dearest mother of Dr. Fred Netherton and his wife Catherine of Lighthouse Cove and David Netherton and his wife Shelley of Erin. Is predeceased by her brother Fred Lastuka and her sister Ruth Miechkota. Loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and great grandmother of 9 great grandchildren. Mary received life membership from South Porcupine General Hospital for her many years of service while there. She was an active member of the Eastern Star while living in Stratford. Mary was active in many sports throughout her life especially curling and baseball. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Wednesday September 26, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Thursday September 27, 2012 at 11:30 am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
