To all of Ernie's children,and families, you have my deepest sympathy.. I was considered a step-daughter for a brief time and he was always a great friend to me. Although, he and my mother, Pat didn't always get along, they were good to one another for many years. He was a kind and gentle man to my children as well..they called him Pippi Ernie for most of their childhood. He is no longer in any pain and is watching over you all...He will be missed by many..Cathy
