APOLLONIO, Francesco Paolo At 91 years of age , Francesco passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on March 27, 2012. Born 1920 in Toritto, Bari , Italy. Francesco a strong and loving husband to Maria ( nee Chiarappa ) . Dedicated and devoted to his children & family Anna & husband Pasquale Sicolo, Antonio & wife Marita Apollonio, predeceased by Luigina Apollonio ( baby ), Francois & wife Flora Apollonio, Lucia & the late husband Vince DeLuzio, Oronzo Apollonio, Phil & wife Mimi Apollonio, Josephine & husband Vince Mancina, Michael & wife Sharon Apollonio, Rose & husband Brent Paisley and to a special son Ian Wilcox and wife Mel. Adored Pepe and Nonno to all his grandchildren Grace & Brian, Maria & Andre, Michael, Francesco Paolo & Vive, Giancarlo & Rita, Marie, Franky, Grazietta & Scott, Daniella , Francesca & Chris, Antonio & Rachel, Katie & Jerry, Tatyanna, Kassandra, Christina, Michael, Tiara, Alexandria, Aydan, Brent and Loving great grandfather to 11 3/4 great grandchildren. Never have we ever met a man who worked harder for his family even so much as to move them across the world to find a better life. Our hero served in World War II , moved with his wife and family to France, immigrated to Canada with wife and children. Our father's musical abilities and talent namely his passion for playing saxophone and music resinates in all our hearts forever. To the wonderful neighbours and friends, especially Giovanna & Enrico Pagliarella for their love and care . We would like to thank Dr. Fortuna for 25 years of his wonderful care and staff. Special thanks to all the nurses on 6th Floor and a special thanks goes to the 4th Floor staff especially to Sarah, Jen and Mike of Windsor Regional Hospital. Parish prayers Friday at 4:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 at 12:00 PM from the Banwell Chapel then to St. Anne's Church - Tecumseh for Words of Rememberance at 12:30PM followed by Francesco's Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM.
