Obituary of Katarina Vuksan

VUKSAN, Katarina " Kata " (nee Martinic) Born July 13, 1928 in Preseka, Ozalj, Croatia. Passed away peacefully on January 23rd, 2012 at Country Village Health Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 83 years. Dear wife to Antun Vuksan. Loving and devoted mother to Ivan and wife Connie Vuksan, Mary and husband Ernest Rumi ; all of Tecumseh, and Tony and wife Renee Vuksan of Huntsville, ON. Cherished " Baba" to David and wife Carolyn, Chris and Stacey, Katherine and husband Cory, Sonia and husband Dave, Ernie and Martina, Ava , Evelyn and Holden. Great " Baba" to Jason, Nicole, Jordan, Kelly and Brooke, Kayla, Conner, Cadence and Dylan. Dear sister to Mara Stipancic of Croatia. Predeceased by parents Katarina and Josip Martinic and sister Jana Prahovic. Also survived by many nieces & nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and Croatia. Mrs. Vuksan was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Country Village Health Care Centre for their compassionate care provided to our Mother and "Baba" during her stay. Funeral Services on Saturday January 28th, 2012 at 9:45 am from the Banwell Chapel then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund.
