Dearest family, I am sorry for your loss. My dad often talked about D’arcy because of their pin boy experience and the jokes they shared. I got to meet D’arcy a few times hanging out with my dad, and I always enjoyed the smiles, jokes and laughter. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Darcy and his wife Mary have been close family friends with our family for many years. I cannot say enough about all the respect I have for him. I worked with him through the bowling community, interacted with his family through many family functions, and as my insurance agent. He will be sadly missed by all of us. Most of all I enjoyed bantering back and forth with him. He had such a good sense of humor.

Jackie: I just heard the news via my sister-in-law. My thoughts are with you and your family. Can't believe D'arcy is no longer of this world. I'm sure your world will be so different without him. Sara bought a house on St. Rose this fall. I drove by your old homestead when I was last in Windsor and thought about you and your folks, and the good times we had there as teenagers. I'm sure you have many good memories to cherish, and I hope they sustain you through this difficult time. Thinking of you, Lonni

Jackie and family, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. The kids and I are out of town, at Bob's sisters. I have sent my hugs via Leslie. I will think of you all 24/7. I know it's truly a difficult time for you all. One wonderful thing, is the amazing memories and thoughts that your father has left you all with. It might take time, but you will find comfort in the amazing memories. And for your Mom, your father gave her you kids. That is so wonderful for her. You are all forever in our hearts. Keep up the Courage. Love, Liz, Alex and Samantha.

D'Arcy my buddy, I will miss your consultation on business, finances, football picks, and horses. I will miss your smiling face and big laugh to greet me when we get together for a drink and our yearly visits to Woodbine for the mile with Pat, lucky Al, Wild Bill, Frankie etc. May you rest in peace, and as you would have wanted, I will have a drink (or a few) in your great memory with the boys at the track. To Mary and family, I thank you all for the great condolence letter to our friend, and I hope you stay strong through this difficult time. I will be thinking of you and your families in these trying times. J-P
