Dear Mrs. McManus and Family I am so sorry to hear about Dr. McManus's passing. I started going to see him in my teens when he was located at Oulette and Wyandotte. I remember Dr. McManus as a compassionate and caring man. I have a Down's Syndrome sister who was deathly afraid of ANY Doctor, ONLY Dr. McManus could work on her and when he retired I remember my Mother saying she did not know what she was going to for her dental care. I moved to Michigan after I got married in '65 and lost touch, but thought of him often when I did have to go to another Dentist. I was visiting my in-laws when I read Dr's obituary, I was very saddened, and I shall remember Dr. McManus and you in my prayers. Memories are wonderful things and I will pray that your family will comfort you, faith to uphold you and loving memories to carry you through the hard times.
