Obituary of Lawrence Clarence Janisse

JANISSE- Lawrence Clarence Passed away suddenly on December 10,2011. Reunited with his devoted wife of 69 years Gertrude (April 22, 2011). Loving father of Annette Kennedy and husband Ken , of Lapeer MI, Clarence Janisse and wife Cathy of Stoney Creek, Gerald Janisse and wife Linda-Jane of Stoney Creek, Ronald Janisse and wife Joanne of Amherstburg, and predeceased by one son Robert (1953). Cherished grandfather of Daniel & Anne, David & Julianne, Deborah- Lynn & Paul, Christine & Rodney, Jennifer, Allison & Chad, Michael, Laurie & Dave, and Trevor. Predeceased by one grandson Gregory and one grandaughter Kellie. Dear great grandfather of 15 grandchildren. Dear son of the late Ovila and Lucy Janisse (Nee Lappan). Dear brother of Helen Janisse (late Chris), and Predeceased by Florence Laframboise (late Leo), Eva Janisse, Cecile Horne (late Jack), Mabel Janisse and baby Beatrice Janisse. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Lawrence was an employee of Ford Motor Company from 1940- 1979. He was a Honourary Member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree Nicholas Pointe Council #4375 & 4th degree W.J. Langlois Assembly #1789 where he was proud and active with the colour guard. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Tuesday December 13, 2011 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Knights of Columbus 3rd & 4th degree and parish prayers on Tuesday at 7:30pm. Funeral services on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 9:30am from the funeral home then to Our Lady of the Atonement Church for funeral mass at 10:00am. Interment St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
