Obituary of Henry Alphonse Duquette

DUQUETTE- Henry "Hank" Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hospice Residential Home on Friday December 9, 2011 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Dietrich). Loving father to Timothy D. Duquette & wife Annette and Debra D. Webster & husband Chuck. Cherished grandfather of Sarah Hall (Randy), Samantha Webster (Lee Ellison), Geena Duquette and Nicholas Duquette. Dear son of the late Ernest C. (1993) and Elize "Alice" Duquette (1995) and son-in-law of the late Harold Dietrich (1986) and Ola (nee Wiper, 1997). Dear brother of the late Tom Duquette (2003) and Maryanne Peloza (Roland). Brother-in-law of Don & Pat Dietrich, Marlene Dawson, Robert & Helene Dietrich, Ron & Kay Dietrich and the late Violet Dietrich (1997) and Max Dawson (2009). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Hank and his wife Sharon were former proprietor's of the IGA in Tilbury for 7 years. Hank began his career with Ford Motor Company and retired after 30 years. He was a volunteer fireman for the Ford and Tilbury Fire Departments. Hank was actively involved with Tilbury's Town Council, Knights of Columbus,and the Tilbury Golf and Curling Club. He also enjoyed playing music for seniors at numerous retirement homes and enjoyed singing in the choir at St. Anne's Church in Tecumseh. Funeral Mass on Monday December 12, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Anne's Church, Tecumseh (12233 Tecumseh Rd E). Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Hospice Residential Home or Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
