My dearest Phyliss and all the Verdonck family, I was deeply saddened to hear only yesterday that my former neighbour and friend Hugo passed away. I saw Hugo last about 4 months ago when I drove past the old neighbourhood. He was cutting the front lawn and when he noticed me, he gave me the all too familiar greeting and hug that I will cherish for my lifetime. Our years on Kenney Court were wonderful, due in part to the amazing, caring, good natured neighbours... especially Hugo and Phyllis. Thanks for sharing those photos of your children and grandchildren on that recent day just this past July....when we laughed over shared memories and for all that you did as a great neighbour and friend...Until we meet again my dear Hugo ~
