GOJMERAC, Ivan It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of a loving husband, father and deda on October 19, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Born in Bukovica, Croatia. Beloved husband for 56 years to Marica (nee Cavlovic). Loving father to Nada and husband Brian Adam, Branka and husband Maurizio Rotondi, Mary and husband Kevin Lumb. Cherished deda to Angela, Steven, Allesandro and Bianca. Predeceased by parents Blaz and Jana Gojmerac. Dear brother to 4 sisters and 4 brothers in Canada and Croatia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Croatia. Ivan was retired from Woodall Construction and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local #494. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E.( Corner of Banwell and Tecumseh) on Friday October 21, 2011 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM. Parish prayers Friday at 7:30PM. Friends are requested to meet at St. Anne's Church ( 12233 Tecumseh Rd. E., Tecumseh) on Saturday October 22, 2011 for funeral mass at 10AM. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery ( Tecumseh). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Canadian Diabetes Association .
