Obituary of Douglas Walter Turner

TURNER, Douglas Walter 70 years, of Windsor, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Father of Doug (Michelle) and Sean Turner and stepfather of Derek Laing and late Jeff Laing. Papa of Benjamin, Morgan, Owen, Emma and Marcus. Son of the late William and Dorothy (nee Hurt) Turner. Brother of Mary (Bill) Conn, Joanne Demcie, Jill Turner, late Donna Turner and late Bill (surviving wife Bev) Turner. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Doug spent most of his life working in Tool and Die and started his own business Marner Tool & Gauge in Windsor. Douglas also spent many years as a counsellor at Brentwood Recovery Home, where he impacted everyone’s lives. He will be missed by many. Per Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and due to the COVID-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd.
