Obituary of Giuseppa "Pina" Barresi

Passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years, with her loving family by her side. Loving wife of Gaspare (2018) with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Cherished and devoted mother of Silvio Barresi and wife Clara, Gaspare Barresi and wife Francesca and Mario Barresi and wife Barbara. Loved Nonna of Christopher Barresi and wife Dana, Tania Heard and husband Chris, Michael David Barresi and wife Angela, Bryan Anthony Barresi and friend Katy Budinsky, Adam Barresi and Vanessa Barresi. Bis Nonna of Christopher, Nina, Gus, Luca and Amelia. Dear sister of Gina Latona and late husband Giuseppe, Vincenza Romano and late husband Giovanni, Frank Rubino and wife Dorina and the late Rocco Rubino and late wife Giuseppina. Dear sister-in-law of the late Vitina and late husband Alessandro, the late Antonietta and husband Angelo, Pina and late husband Lorenzo. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Pina was an amazing cook and baker. She loved to share her homemade desserts, breads, pizza and lasagna with all her family and friends. She was a wonderful seamstress. Her custom drapes can still be seen in many homes in the Windsor area. A private service was held for the immediate family. A special thank you to all the staff of Banwell Gardens who helped care for our mom.
