Obituary of Michel Greige

GREIGE, Michel "Mike" Passed away peacefully on January 24, 2011 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 49 years. Beloved husband and soulmate for 30 years to Sharifa (nee Sleiman). Loving and devoted father to Tony, Antoinette, and Sam. Cherished son to Sarkis and Mounira Gereige. Loving brother to George (Norma), Antoine (Jodi), Hanne Amine (Pierre), Charbel (Giselle), Youssef (Tracey), Rima Gereige, Fouad (Melissa). Dear brother in-law to Mary Sleiman of Windsor and many brothers and sisters in-law in Lebanon. Adored godfather to Luca Gereige and Tarek Gereige. Welcomed into Heaven and reunited with his "Angel", niece Angelina Grace. Michel will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in Canada, U.S.A., Lebanon, Venezuela and Australia. Mike was a supervisor with Raymax Construction Company and a faithful and devoted member of St. Charbel and St. Peter Maronite Churches. In his pastime, Mike enjoyed discussing Lebanese politics with friends. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Charbel Maronite Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you to "Our Dad's Angels"- the nurses and staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, Renal Dialysis Unit and I.C.U. for their compassionate care provided to Mike and his family.
