DEL GRECO, Domenico 80 years. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 20, 2010 at Heron Terrace. Loving husband of 59 years to Iolanda (nee Carducci). Dear father of Frank & wife Tina (nee Chan), Susan Del Greco - Keelan and Mary Anne & husband Walter Santarossa. Cherished grandfather " Nunni " to Andrea, Vanessa, Adrian and Dante. Predeceased by his parents Francesco (1984) & Assunta (1991) & one brother Mario (1963). Dear brother of Vincenzo & wife Anna - MI, Maria & Francesco Rossi - Italy. Dear brother in law of Rosina & Duilio (dec.) Isope - Italy, Vincenzina & Giovanni Mastromattei - Toronto, Teresa (dec.) & Camillo Ricci (dec.) - Italy. Caro Zio to many nieces and nephews in Canada, USA and Italy. Domenico retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 32 years of dedicated service, a proud member of the Ciociaro Club of Windsor for 36 years and the Cepranese Club (MI). Domenico's passion and love was his family first and foremost but also his farm that he was so proud of as this reminded him of Ceprano, Italy. Often times you would see him riding his bike or driving his pick-up truck to get to the farm to tend to his livestock and farmland . Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E (corner of Banwell and Tecumseh Rd E.) on Friday October 22, 2010 from 2 to 5 PM & 7 to 9 PM. Parish Prayers Friday afternoon at 4:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Saturday October 23, 2010 at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe) from 9:00 AM until time of Liturgy of Farewell (Eulogy) at 9:45 AM followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM. Followed by entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you to the Nurses and Staff of Heron Terrace for all of your care and support shown to Domenico and our family.
