CARUANA, Anna (nee Vento) March 26, 1927- March 31, 2013 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, nonna and bis-nonna. Daughter of the late Francesco and Maria Antonietta Vento. Loving wife of Leonardo. Loving and devoted mother of Anna(Brad) Makaric, Mary(Frank) Urso and Elena (Garrie) Nolan. Cara nonna of Michael (Ashley), Kyle, Lisa, Lauren, Kristen, Kaylee, Alexa and Frankie. Cara bis nonna of Breonna and Michael Jr. Loving sister of the late Vincenzo (survived by wife Anna) Vento, late Antonia (Andrea) Salemi, late Leonardo(Giuseppina) Vento and late Giuseppina (Stefano) Coppola. Dear sister-in-law of Anna (late Leonardo) Gagliano, Late Salvatore(Giuseppina) Caruana and Antonio (Carmela) Caruana. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks to the homecare nurses of Riviera, St. Elizabeth and the nurses and staff of the 5th floor at Met Hospital. Anna put her family first and she was well known for her bread making to which she shared with many. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 3:30 pm. Funeral services Wednesday April 3, 2013 leaving from the funeral home at 10:15 for funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Angela Merici Church. Entombment Greenlawn Memorial.
