Obituary of Barica Dedo

DEDO, Barica "Barbara" (nee Novacki) Passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 1, 2013, at Windsor Essex Hospice Residence, at the age of 80. Loving wife to Baldo of 58 years. Beloved mother of Zdenka Mary Logan (Garth) and Vesna Bailey (William). Cherished baba of Sarah (Craig), Zachary, Stephen, Lauren, Karyn and great-grandmother of Zack and Brooklyn. Dear sister of Ivica, Katica, Joza, Tonica, Mira, Slavica, Vilcek and predeceased by Kristina, Ljuba, Zdenka, Dragica, Slavko, Anica, Stef, and Durdja. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Barica will always be remembered for her love of nursing, cooking, baking and needlepoint. She had a strong belief in her faith and was a long time member of St.Francis of Assisi Croatian Church. The family would like to express a special thank-you to the CCAC / Revera nursing staff Margaret, Laura and Cathy and also the staff and volunteers at Windsor Essex Hospice Residence. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 7-9 pm and on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers on Thursday at 8 pm. Funeral Service on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 9 am from the funeral home, then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund or to the Windsor Essex Hospice Residence.
