Obituary of Filomena Amato

AMATO, Filomena (nee Bitonti) Peacefully on March 20th, 2013 at the age of 81 with her loving family by her side. Cherished wife of Antonio with whom she shared 65 beautiful years. Loving mother of John and wife Adele, Anna Marie and husband John Mancina. Beloved "Ma" to Mena and Doug McLean, Tony and Shelley Amato, Angela, Christina, Frank and Matthew Mancina. Treasured great-grandma to Ethan, Audrey, Maddex, and Evelyn. Predeceased by parents Antonio and Anna Bitonti, and in-laws Giovanni and Maria Amato. Dear sister to Giovanna and Domenico Spadafora, sister-in-law of the late Benardo (Maria), Francesco (Santina), Giovanni (Marie), Rosetta (Frank) Perri. Filomena will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, U.S.A. and Italy. Special thank-you to Paramed, especially Teresa, Florence and Nelly, St. Elizabeth and CCAC for their support during our mother's illness.
