Blane was such a part of our work life long after he retired. He retired prior to my start at R. J. Cyr but he was around so often that for awhile I thought he was a part time employee. I would hear his voice or his laugh and know that he was around somewhere. He would be hanging out, conversing with the engineers, or the guys in purchasing, estimating or sales. Giving advise, asking about previous customers, jobs or just gabbing. I am sorry for your loss he was one heck of a guy. On behalf of all of us at R. J. Cyr Co. good bye you old dog, you will be missed.
