Dear Mr. Pellarin, Sylvie, Jeff and Roy, When I think of Mrs. Pellarin, I smile at the many happy memories. She was like a second mom to me growing up in Remington Park - making matching doll dresses for Sylvie and me and matching crocheted/knitted ponchos to wear to school, feeding me lots of delicious food, bandaging my scraped leg when I thought I was dying after sliding down the tree, scolding us for whipping hardened apples at each other over the hedge or wetting the garage floor and sliding to crash against the back wall yelling "TRAIN!" at the top of our lungs (what were we thinking?! :)). My mom reminded me that when I was a year old, she passed me over the fence to Mrs. Pellarin so that Sylvie and I could play together - long before "playdates" were a structured eventt. My heart is so sad at her loss. She was a wonderful neighbor for so many years. Love, Susan
