Obituary of Giuseppe Fiorido

FIORIDO, Giuseppe "Joe" Born in Valle d' Istria (Pola) Italy. He passed away peacefully with family on February 1, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Devoted husband and best friend of Ettorina (nee Palaziol), for over 59 years. Loving father of Dennis (Vivian) and Devis (Nettie). Son of the late Domenico and Pierina Fiorido. Caro Nonno of Michela, Zachary, Jordan and Erica. Dear brother of Alda, Arduino, Pierina and the late Fioretto, Stelio and Domenico. He is survived by his sister in-law Maria, niece Carla and nephew Robert. Giuseppe "Joe" retired from G.M. Transmission after 35 years of dedicated service and was also a member of Local #1973. He was a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club for 47 years, and was a former bicycle mechanic for their Velo Club. Joe was devoted to family and friends and was always around to lend a helping hand to anyone. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 4 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
