Obituary of Katharine Collins

COLLINS, Katharine (nee Hubert) Passed away peacefully at home in her favorite chair on December 26, 2012. Predeceased by her parents Frank & Anna, sister Theresa Selics and survived by her brother Adam Hubert. Predeceased by former spouse S. James Collins. Beloved mother of Chris (Sandie), Michael (Linda), Robert (Pat), Patricia, and Karen Dicks. Grandmother to Steven (Lisa), Sean (Caitlin), Christine (Dan), Ryan (Amanda) and Katie (Tyler). Katharine was a secretary at Sheppard, Masson, Brand and Langlois Architects and later the Ontario Ministry of Industry & Trade. She enjoyed singing with the church choir for many years. After retirement, Katharine remained active practicing Tai Chi and Qi Gong with Gerry and Sheila and her friends at the Seniors" Center. She looked forward to Saturday lunch with Annette and Sunday dinners with Lois and Robin. A special thank you to neighbours Rick and Dwayne. E. on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home, then to Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum) for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
