Obituary of Anastasia Wasiniewski

WASINIEWSKI, Anastasia (Stella) (nee: Mieduniecki) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a special lady, our aunt Anastasia Wasiniewski,, at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by husbands Czeslaw Wasiniewski and Joseph Potyrak, son Chester Potyrak, sisters Waleria Konopka and Mary Kowczur. Loving aunt of Mary Niefer (Richard), Sofi Danielewicz (late John), and Boleslaw (Zosia) Kowczur. Also left to mourn are many great nieces and nephews, living in Ontario, Newfoundland, Jamaica and Poland, and her special sister-in-law Victoria Nowotny. Special thanks to the staff and friends at the Royal Marquis. The family also wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff at Banwell Gardens for the care and kindness shown to Stella during her stay these last 3 months. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m., with parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the funeral home then to Holy Trinity Polish Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow, with interment to take place at a later date.
