Obituary of Jeannette Gertrude Baranowski

BARANOWSKI, Jeannette Gertude Born August 1, 1915 " Passed away October 10, 2012 Age 97. Loving wife to late husband Julius (1981). Dear mother to Julia (North Carolina), Joe (Windsor) and James and wife Lynn (Windsor). Grandmother to Sarah and husband Ed Galbraith, Andrew, Tanya, Jocelyn, Daniel and Luke. Great-grandmother to Jacob and Benjamin. Daughter to the late Samuel Northey (1951) and Hazel (1980). Dear sister to Sylvia (Belle River) and predeceased by Roland (1980), Wesley (1945), Donald (1958) and Lillian (2008). Mom was born in Michigan. She lived as a small child with her family in Bruce, Alberta for about 5 years. She then moved back to Michigan, where she raised a family before she moved to Windsor in 1971. During WWII, she helped construct bomber aircrafts in a factory in Detroit. She was a hardworking, dedicated housewife then after. She could knit some incredible looking clothes, and did so for many years. She was the kindest, most gentle person we knew and she will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
