Obituary of Harvey David Chalcraft

CHALCRAFT, Harvey David Passed away peacefully on August 17, 2012 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (nee McMullin) Chalcraft (1989). Loving father of David Chalcraft and wife Betty, and the late Richard Chalcraft (2006). Proud grandfather of David & Heather, Kevin, Philip & Deanna, Kenneth & Amber, Jordan & Gregg, Erin, and Kelly. Loving great grandfather of Darrian, Ethan, Owen, and Atticus. Dear brother of Helen Allison. He is also missed by his nieces and nephews. As a young man, Harvey served in the Royal Canadian Army. He is remembered by many for his years of service at Crescent Lanes. Harvey was also a founding member of the Walker Homesites Athletic Club in Windsor, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #594. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Dresden Cemetery, Dresden, Ontario at 2 pm. Donations made in memory of Harvey to St. David"s Anglican Church are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
