We wish to offer our deepest symphaties to Teta Ksenija's two sons, Vlaho and Nedjeljko and to those near and dear to them. Our two families were trail-blazers in Port Arthur in the late fifties, as ours were probably first complete families (parents with children) that came from Croatia to this area. That fact, along with the proximity of our homes, meant frequent family get-togethers and my only chance to play with Croatian kids. Teta Ksenija's soft-spoken words and constant smile, even during those initial years when finding employment, learning a new language and feeding a young family must have presented difficult challenges for her and stric Pero, as it did to my parents. Our deepest symphaties. May they both rest in peace. Stipe Plesa (I also wish to extend the symphaties of my sisters Anka, Rosie and brother Tony with their families).
