Obituary of Elizabeth Magdalena Anderson

ANDERSON, Elizabeth (nee Friedl) May 21, 1925 - July 16, 2012 Passed away July 16, 2012 at the age of 87. Reunited with her beloved late husband Roger (1984), son Mark (2002), daughter Debbie (2007), and daughter in-law Shelley (2008). Dear mother of Roger (Reg), and Rory (Roger) Pouget. Dearest grandmother of Wayne (Nancy) Bendyk, Peter (Vicky) Bendyk, Scott Pouget and Jennifer (Josh) Nadon. Also great-grandmother to Jessie, Justin, Hayley, Madison and Paige. Survived by her brother Walter (Virginia) Friedl and Max Friedl (Ottawa) and many nieces and nephews. Beth was a Veteran in the CWAC during WWII, also retired from Windsor Separate School Board where she was a secretary for over 30 years. Many thanks to staff at the Sun Parlour Home in Leamington for taking such great care of her. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. followed by a Veteran's Service under the auspices of the Windsor Veteran's Memorial Service Committee. Funeral service on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
