Obituary of Eugene Zgomba

Zgomba, Eugene It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father and grandfather on May 22, 2012 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 69 years. Born in Istra, Croatia. Loving and devoted husband of 45 years to Mira ( nee Ferderbar). Beloved father of Robert ( Sandy) Zgomba; Christina (John) Belanic; and Diana Zgomba. Dear Dida to Veronika and Izabela Zgomba; and Jorden and Marcus Belanic. Eugene is predeceased by his parents Mate and Foska Zgomba and his brothers Mirko, Rudi , and Atilio. Dear son in law to Jana Ferderbar and the late Dragan. Will be sadly missed by his dearest cousin Roko and Eva Kliman, and Pero and Vera Kliman. Dear uncle to Brian (Alanna) Kliman, Robert (Vesna) Kliman and children. Dearest Barba to Elvis (Christina) Zgomba and children, and sister in law Mira. Dear brother in law to Zlatko Ferderbar, and Vlado (Mariana) Ferderbar and families, and close family Vera (Joe) Pavkovic and families. Eugene was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting and will be missed by all of his friends. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Thursday May 24, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayers Thursday at 8:00 pm. Funeral Service Friday May 25, 2012 at 9:30 am from the Funeral Home to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
