Good Bye, My Friend Today my dear friend passed away And I will miss her every day. It will be hard to say good bye To someone who was by my side. My heart it aches and my tears are many As I remember the stories, which were plenty. We laughed and cried; shared our deepest thoughts Even laughing about all the things we had bought. We talked and chatted of family and friends The kids and grandchildren; there was no end. They lasted so long, I would fall asleep Anita never said a word, not even a peep!! I�ll miss her deeply and cherish the times Knowing she�s at peace will ease my mind. I have been blessed to be her friend A friendship like ours will never end.
