Obituary of Jeanne Ferrari

FERRARI, Jeanne Marie (nee Jacquot) March 4, 1925 - March 29, 2012 With love and sadness in our hearts, we say goodbye to a most loving mother and grandmother on March 29, 2012, at 87 years young. Jeanne was predeceased by her devoted husband, Douglas (1993). She was a wonderful mother to Michael (Denise) of Calgary and Marianne (Dave) of Windsor, and a proud grandmother of Simon and Bryan Ferrari of Calgary and Marissa (Shawn) and Michael (Anita) Reaume of Windsor. Jeanne was the eldest daughter of the late Gustav and Julia Jacquot. She is survived by brothers Rene and Henry Jacquot and sisters Aline Gratton, Denise Gammon, Lorette Nelson, Suzanne Hansen and Helene Durocher and predeceased by baby brother August (1922). She will be sadly missed by her very best friend and "special sister", Maxine Gregg, with whom she shared 42 years of blessed friendship. She died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family who meant everything to her. Everyone has a hero, she was ours. E. on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are requested to gather at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum) on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
