Obituary of Katarina Ivana Pilger

PILGER, Katherine (Katarina) (nee Cuvalo) Passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 28, 2012 at the age of 86 years. Reunited with her beloved infant son Mijomir. Loving and devoted mother to Kathy and Richard Baron, Jasmina Finta, and Annette and Ted Bartlett. Cherished "Baka" to Peter Kanis (Lana), Drina Zinyk (Mike), Mimi Raponi, Darrion, Brandon and Amber Bartlett, and "Baba Baka" to great grandchildren Zoey and Payton Zinyk, Erin Raponi, Sky Manley, and Sydney Manley. Politics and her country (Croatia) were Katherine's life. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday March 30, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. with Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
