Obituary of Dominic Belcastro

BELCASTRO, Dominic. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dominic on March 20, 2012 at the age of 59 years. Loving and devoted Father to Giovanni "John" Belcastro. Cherished Brother of Saverio "Sabby" and wife Cindy, Salvatore "Sam"; all of Windsor, and Tony of California. Adored Uncle to Jason and wife Melissa, Giovanni Desmond and wife Amber, Matthew, and Megan. Predeceased by parents Giovanni (2005) and Caterina (2010) Belcastro. Mr. Belcastro retired after 37 years of dedicated service with the City of Windsor, Parks and Recreation Department. Dominic was very proud of his Italian Heritage and he firmly practiced those traditions faithfully.. He took great pride in knowing that he instilled those traditions to his son, niece, nephews and entire family. Dominic was known to many as the coffee connoisseur, since he never missed a day without having his Tim Horton's coffee. Friends will be received at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Parish prayers Sunday 8:30 pm. Funeral Services on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 8:45 am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
